Precision Tip: This filter is a "miracle fit" for the first-generation BRZ and FR-S (2013–2016) regardless of transmission. However, for 2017–2021 facelift models, this only fits the Automatic Transmission variants. Manual transmission models from 2017 onwards received a different, larger airbox (identifiable by the red aluminum intake manifold) which requires a different K&N part number. Always ensure your airbox clips are fully seated after installation to prevent unfiltered air from entering the engine.
