The Professional Foundation for Aftermarket Seat Installation
Upgrade your cockpit with the precision of Sparco. These vehicle-specific bases are constructed from heavy-duty steel to provide a low-profile mounting surface that maximizes headroom—a critical factor for taller drivers or those wearing helmets on track days. Each base is designed to accept Sparco sliders and side mounts, creating a modular system that allows you to tailor your seating position for the perfect "man-machine" connection. Finished in a durable black powder coat, they provide a clean, professional look that stands up to the rigors of performance driving.
Available Variants (Sold Individually):
- Driver Side (Left): Part #: 600SB161L
- Passenger Side (Right): Part #: 600SB161R
The Sparco Advantage
- True Direct Fit: Engineered specifically for the ZN6/ZC8 chassis; bolts directly to the factory floor pans with no drilling, cutting, or welding required.
- Heavy-Duty Construction: Fabricated from thick-gauge steel for maximum rigidity and safety, meeting the high standards required for performance applications.
- Low-Profile Design: Sits as low as possible to keep your center of gravity down and provide ample clearance for roll bars and helmets.
- Modular Compatibility: Pre-drilled to accept Sparco track sliders and side-mount brackets, but also compatible with many other major seat brands (OMP, Recaro, etc.) using universal hardware.
- Durable Finish: Protected by a high-quality black powder coat that resists scratches, corrosion, and wear.

Precision Tip: Safety is the priority here. When installing these bases, we highly recommend using a drop of medium-strength thread locker on the floor bolts to ensure they stay torqued through vibrations. Also, keep in mind that swapping to aftermarket seats will likely trigger an Airbag Warning Light; you’ll need to install a 3.3-ohm resistor in the factory yellow plug to keep the rest of your SRS system active.
