Precision Tip: TEIN coilovers are famous for their "out of the box" settings, but for the 86 platform, we recommend starting at 8 clicks from stiff for a perfect weekend-warrior balance. If you find the rear end feels a bit "bouncy" on the highway, soften the rear dampers by 2 clicks compared to the front. Also, since these use a sealed structure, they cannot be rebuilt; however, TEIN sells individual replacement dampers (shock bodies) for a very low cost, making a "refresh" after 50k miles easier than a rebuild!
