Zerex Original Green Coolant - 1 Gallon
Classic IAT Protection for Older and Heavy-Duty Engines
Maintain your engine’s health with the formula that set the standard for generations. Zerex Original Green is specifically designed for older vehicles and heavy-duty applications that require a low-silicate, phosphate-free coolant. Unlike modern OAT or HOAT fluids that can take time to build a protective layer, the IAT chemistry in Original Green provides an instant barrier against rust and scale. This 50/50 ready-to-use formula is pre-diluted with demineralized water, making it the most convenient way to top off your system or perform a quick refresh without worrying about water quality.
What Included in the Box:
- (1) 1 Gallon (3.78L) Bottle: 50/50 Ready-to-Use Pre-mix.
The Zerex Advantage
- Low-Silicate Formula: Provides excellent heat transfer and protection for both aluminum and older cast-iron engine blocks without the risk of silicate drop-out.
- Immediate Corrosion Protection: The classic IAT chemistry starts working the second it hits your cooling system, protecting yellow metals like copper and brass found in vintage radiators.
- 50/50 Pre-Mixed Convenience: No mixing, no measuring, and no risk of mineral contamination from tap water. Just pour and go.
- Proven Anti-Foam Technology: Includes specialized additives to prevent air bubbles and foaming, ensuring your water pump operates at peak efficiency.
- Extreme Temperature Reliability: Protects against winter freeze-ups down to -34 degrees F and summer boil-overs up to 265 degrees F.

Precision Tip: Traditional green coolants have a shorter service life than modern long-life fluids. To keep your cooling system clean and prevent the buildup of acidic contaminants, we recommend a full flush and refill every 2 years or 30,000 miles. Never mix this with orange Dex-Cool or newer "Asian Blue" fluids, as the chemical conflict can lead to clumping and restricted flow.
